About

Will Read

I like building things that make people stronger: physically, professionally, or both. I've spent most of my career in enterprise SaaS: building, selling, marketing, learning what actually drives adoption, and turning messy customer reality into products and systems that work. Now I'm focused on health & performance as a space to build and invest.

  • Operator first.
  • I'm happiest in the "0 → 1 → repeat" zone: positioning, pipeline, sales, onboarding, retention.
  • I write and create to clarify what I think (and to notice what I don't).
  • Outside work: training, family time, and trying to spend fewer hours staring at rectangles.

How I help companies

Sometimes it's useful to have an experienced operator drop in to help with finding clarity, building momentum and getting to where you want to go.

What I tend to be useful for

  • Go-to-market clarity: tightening the story, choosing the right wedge, building more effective messaging and sales support, aligning pricing with reality.
  • Enterprise sales mechanics: pipeline hygiene, deal strategy, messaging, and the "what do we do next?" moments.
  • Sales: creating and closing large opportunities.
  • Retention + expansion systems: onboarding, adoption loops, renewal prep, and the boring-but-important cadence.
  • Operator feedback: working with CEOs and leadership teams as a calm second brain for big decisions, small annoyances and everything in-between.

Typical engagement shapes

  • 1–2 week sprint: diagnose, decide, ship the first changes.
  • Monthly advisor rhythm: an hour or two a week to keep things sharp.
  • Short project: parachute in and out quickly.

If this sounds useful, email me with what you're building and where you're stuck. Three lines is plenty.
